I have always dreamed of ownning a Mercedes Benz so when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it. I bought a 2003 C240 in December 2005 and I have had nothing but problems the whole time I have had it.
The first problem was just the light bulb in the back so they replaced that the next day. But then things started getting crazy, the sunroof wouldn't open and close properly, on the passenger seat in the back just fell off one day while I was driving! They fixed it and then I had to take it in 3 times for the transmission, once for the waterpump.
Even after the transmission work the car still doesn't ride good. Everytime I take it in and tell them something is wrong, they pretend like they can't find what the problem is. Thank God I still have a warranty because otherwise I would be out a lot of money! My warranty is almost up and them I will really be stuck! Oh yeah and come to find out the car was rusted in the back but they just painted over it and now it's coming through.
I talked to Bernie the owner and he just tried to upsale me on a 2005 C240 for an additional $6,000! I the took a survey and gave them a bad rating so the sales manager called me and again pretended like he was so sorry for our problems and wanted to know what he could do but in the end he just wanted to upsale me too! I am so disappointed in their service and their lack of integrity. If I was one of the Cleveland ball players, I would have no problems getting good service! 129f8a3

As an adult we know we are buying a "pre-owned" car, including any "pre-owned" problem. No dealer can tell something negative WILL happen, unless thay do not intend on being in business very long. Seems the service you received was enough to handle each problem. As they advised you can always trade the car in. Do you honastly believe that any company will buy ANY itme back after you have used it? |
