I purchased a new car from Merecedes Benz of San Francisco, for cash. I discovered later that the car had a lien on it when I tried to get a Certificate of Ownership (Pink Slip in California). It took me 10 1/2 months to get the title. I seems they "Punch" (tell the factory that the car is sold, to collect the rebate), than borrow against the cars. According to California DMV code section 5753, sections C, D,& E, they owe me a mininum of $2500.00. Of course they have refused to pay, and are blaming me for the problem. 129fc40
