I bought a few months ago an old Mercedes Benz for my daughter, today is her 18 years birthday and the car didn't come with a spare key so I decided to get her the extra key today/.

WOW what was my surprise when the person in the parts dpt!. told me the amount $ 242,.80 !!!!

I know for sure that the key with all the electronics devices comes with it, cannot cost you no more then $50|.00, they are the only ones how can make that key|. I will call this extorsion..

This is ABUSIVE!.

Please public this so nobody else get caught.

You sir are an @$$hole. The key probably does cost $50 but to resell it to you who can afford to buy a new car for your daughter's birthday...$250 is a reasonable price. AND the best part is YOU WILL PAY FOR IT. So why not charge such a high price? There are dumb rich guys like you who will pay for it and complain! A car has 4 tires, an engine, and a transmission. A car like this is nothing more then a status symbol and you will pay......HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Merc, jag, bmw.... its all the same. They are special keys matched to the security devices in the car.
