The driver seat of my 2016 CL300 has pealed. Mercedes will not acknowledge that it is a defect in the fabric.
It has happened since there was just 2,000 miles on the vehicle. The dealer has repaired it 3 times - twice with a vinyl repair and then supposedly seat cover replacement, and it has happened again. They claim this has not been an issue with any of their other clients. I brought it to an independent repair person, who feels the top of the fabric is separating from the bottom, as there is no tear.
Very unhappy with their assessment of this issue. Bonnie
